Job SummaryThe Breakfast Attendant sets and replenishes breakfast food for hotel guests and maintains cleanliness in the breakfast lobby. Current Food Handlers Permit within one month of employment; must be able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in English; and a commitment to providing excellence in service required. Six months food handlers experience is preferred.
Responsibilities- Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and change the course of action quickly, being flexible.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Provides outstanding guest service.
- Sets up breakfast before guests arrive.
- Frequently checks breakfast line for low food supply.
- Efficiently replenishes food, beverages, and/or supplies as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness of area throughout the morning by reorganizing and tidying food areas as needed.
- Removes and disposes of leftover food at the end of the breakfast shift.
- Cleans area according to established standards.
- Ensures inventory is stocked and properly stored prior to the next day’s shift.
- Responsible for keeping inventory stocked by ordering additional food and/or supplies as needed.
- Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner.
- Follow-up to ensure complete guest satisfaction.

PreferencesSix months food handler’s experience is preferred. Experience in the food and/or hospitality industry preferred.
