Salt Lake City has become one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the Great American West, with a burgeoning hip restaurant scene following right along. Seated in a beautiful mountain valley and surrounded by the Wasatch Mountains in the East and the Oquirrh Mountains in the West, Salt Lake City is known for their world-class ski resorts, many national parks, The Sundance Film Festival, the largest genealogy library in the world, and of course, the Great Salt Lake.

More and more sophisticated diners, both residents and visitors, are seeking exceptional unique dining experiences in Salt Lake City.

Our client is an established award-winning hotel that is adding an elevated brasserie/restaurant to their in-house portfolio. Their goal is to become the best restaurant in the Salt Lake City metro area in their first year of operation, and to establish the restaurant as one of the MUST-DO dining experiences for visitors to the Salt Lake City metro-area of over 1.2MM people.

There is an expert leadership team in place that will be guiding and supporting the General Manager that is chosen for this amazing opportunity. The restaurant will be its own entity, and the General Manager will be responsible for the execution and guest experience in this restaurant only.

The ideal candidate must have the following to be considered:

• Five years’ experience working as a General Manager in the fine dining segment
• Ability to work with an expert team in a very collaborative environment
• Ability to support and execute an elevated brasserie dining experience
• An EXPERT on the floor leading your team
• Solid understanding of the P&L and restaurant accounting
• Expertise in training and teaching team members
• Skilled communicator that leads by example
• Passion for developing and mentoring a FOH service team
• Strong honesty, integrity and guest advocate philosophy
• Personal and professional maturity is a key attribute

• Salary package – $80k – $100k
• Generous benefits package
• Annual performance / salary review
