Directs and delegates front‑of‑house staff with a focus on timely set‑up of events while adhering to LUX standards. Event Leads understand and execute the entire event production process from loading at LUX, to set‑up and final tear‑down and clean‑up of each event successfully. Providing exceptional service and memorable experiences for each and every client and team member.
Responsibilities- Discuss details with the Event Producer to ensure all specifics and special needs are covered prior to the event
- Collaborate with the Event Chef and beverage teams on menu specifics and timelines
- Collaborate with the Event Mentor on new hires and any specific tasks they will train during the event
- Ensure all event staff have a professional appearance (i.e., uniforms and grooming) and affable demeanor, following the LUX dress standards
- Check in all FOH staff as they report to LUX and assign specific job duties
- Conduct a team meeting prior to departure of event to discuss pertinent details and specifics
- Use “Eyes On” throughout the entire shift
- Continuously encourage, develop, and delegate staff through the entire event
- Supervise the proper breakdown and cleaning of the event area. Ensure all equipment is sanitized and stored properly. Lead must complete a walk‑through with the venue contact upon departure
- Attend job site visits for planning purposes, as needed
- Complete the event review form and any other relevant event paperwork and submit the paperwork at the end of each shift
- Conduct training on‑site at LUX as well as in the field
- Knowledge of fine dining service
- Familiar with the sequence of service and off‑premise events
- Ability to interact with diverse groups and foster a cooperative work environment

- Willingness to help team members out by covering shifts or filling in any FOH position when needed
- Maintain and express a positive attitude while interacting with clients and fellow team members
- Must obtain a Utah Food Handler Permit and if 21 years of age a Utah Alcohol Server’s Certificate
- Ability to read, write, and speak English professionally
- Current driver’s license without any outstanding citations
- Requires a high level of physicality – consistently move for 8 hours or more
- Regularly required to lift, push or pull up to 25 lbs – 60 lbs
- Specific vision requirements for operating LUX motor vehicles
