Overview
Job Summary The Krizaj Lab is hiring a Research Coordinator
, this position will be contracted initially for a two month period with the option to extend at the end of two months for additional time but is subject to available funding
.
- Coordinate day-to-day research activities in adherence to Responsible Conduct for Research (RCR), study protocols, experimental work and applicable data analysis.
- Conduct complex work under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent judgment; participate in research study initiation, progress and close out.
- Conduct animal experiments, including but not limited to tonometry, electroretinography and molecular analyses, analyze and present the data.
- Create and maintain tools and documentation to track study procedures, protocols and metrics, providing weekly updates to management.
- The position requires close collaboration with other members of the team and works under the direction of the Primary Investigator (PI) or Project Director (PD).
Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
Research Coordinator: Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.
