Kennel Technician + Receptionist

$12-13 an hour PLUS TIPS! We are a busy dog day care and boarding facility and we are looking for mature, RESPONSIBLE, positive people- preferably with customer service or animal care experience- or willing to learn.

You will be responsible for working as part of a team that cares for the well-being of all of the dogs at our facility.

For RECEPTIONIST this includes:

• Entering new clients in our database
• Booking appointments for grooming and boarding
• Scanning documents
• Answering incoming calls
• Checking dogs in and out of daycare and boarding
• Following daily checklists, policies and procedures
• Maintain top of the line customer service
• Keeping the front of the house clean and tidy
• Other duties as assigned

For KENNEL TECHNICIAN this includes:

• Monitoring and engaging in play activities with the dogs, while providing a safe, clean, healthy environment for everyone
• Learning and observing dog behaviors to ensure their happiness and well-being
• Cleaning tasks, which will include being around feces and urine - proper sanitation is important!
• Ability to work in a loud environment and stay focused
• You will need to be able to stand for extended periods of time as well
• Other duties as assigned

• Computer skills a must
• Passion for dogs
• Ability to interact with customers and dogs in a professional manner
• Previous experience in animal care is preferred but not required
• Able to lift 50lbs

Part time positions are available for some morning shifts (6:30am - 1pm) and some afternoon shifts (12:30pm - 7:30pm). Employees have the opportunity to earn tips in addition to their hourly wage. This position will offer up to 35 hours per week.
