Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.
Responsibilities- Prioritizing comfort while assisting residents in achieving their highest level of function
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitoring vital signs including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure
- Maintaining a safe environment and assisting with fall-risk precautions
- Interdepartmental communications within the care team
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state and maintain certification throughout employment with Avalon
- Meet state and federal requirements, generally 12 hours of in‑service education
- Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English
- Recent education or clinical hours are required
- You need to be at least 18 years old
- Must pass a criminal background investigation and reference inquiry
