Job SummaryThe Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work on our team with an emphasis in general cardiology. The job is an outpatient clinic-focused role, primarily based at our Redstone community clinic in Park City, UT. The position will involve both independent work and close collaboration with physician partner/s and other advanced practice clinicians.

Expectations:
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above. Demonstrate clinical competence and in-depth knowledge of the specialty area. Demonstrate leadership, teaching, research, and communication skills. Ability to provide care appropriate to the population served.
Required:
Licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Utah.
Preferred:
Certification in ACLS / BLS / NRP / ATLS may be required by department or privileging criteria. Utah State prescriptive privileges. Licensure is obtained by completing a Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalency and a National Certification (nationally accredited examination).
UHPPM 1-56 requires that newly hired non-physician providers apply for credentialing and privileging at the time of hire. This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements. Immunization per CDC standards and hospital policy is required unless exempt for medical or religious reasons.
