ResponsibilitiesSalt Lake Behavioral Health is currently seeking a compassionate and talented RN to serve in a Hybrid Floor Nurse and House Supervisor position.
Shift DetailsShifts:
Nights (Saturday, Sunday, Monday). Supervisor hours 7 pm – 7 am, RN hours 6 pm – 6 am.
This position prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The role is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. The position assists in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and performance improvement efforts while providing supervision to the nursing staff assigned to the unit.

- Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management;
Bachelor's degree preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility. Minimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisory role. - Licensure:
Currently licensed to practice by the Utah State Board of Nursing. - Additional Requirements:
Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification required. Must successfully complete current training for restraints and seclusions within 90 days of employment.
