Overview

Infusion Nurse PRN - Salt Lake City at Nira Medical. The Rocky Mountain MS Clinic is seeking a PRN Infusion Nurse to join our team and deliver patient-centered care. The clinic is recognized as a Center for Comprehensive MS Care by the National MS Society.

Our infusion center is staffed with a team of neurologists and BSN/MS-certified RNs, dedicated to keeping a high standard of care for patients.

• Provides infusion and other skilled nursing care to patients, including patient assessments, patient/caregiver education, and responding to emergency patient needs.
• Demonstrates exceptional time management skills, good clinical judgment, and the ability to multi-task.
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times; strictly follows HIPAA laws and regulations.
• Participates in staff meetings and in-services as required.
• Exhibits well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and patients.
• Abides by organizational policies and procedures as well as state/federal rules and regulations.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN required.
• One year of current nursing experience required; two years preferred.
• One year of experience with infusion therapy, including patient assessment skills, venous access skills, and emergency patient care, preferred.
• Active, unrestricted nursing license in state of practice. BLS certification required.
