Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a UT or compact license and NIH Stroke Certification.

• Work in the ICU department within a hospital setting
• Night shift from 7:00PM to 7:00AM
• 12-week travel assignment
• Patient population consists of critically ill adults
• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
• Night shift assignment with possible weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Team environment with strong support among ICU staff
• Certain immunizations or health testing may be required in accordance with hospital policy

• Active UT or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Must provide at least one professional reference
• No local candidates; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
