Meadow Brook Health and Rehab in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN)! At Meadow Brook, we are a close-knit group where providing our residents the best care possible is our #1 priority. We strive to improve the lives of our residents and their families, as well as our staff.

We are currently hiring PRN Registered Nurses; in the interview, we will discuss your availability as well as the needs of our facility. At least 2 shifts/month are required to stay active on our PRN roster. We look forward to meeting with you!

$35-45 an hour, depending on experience

Benefits are only available to our full-time employees; part-time and PRN employees do not have access to benefits.

• PRN nurses work on a "as-needed/available" schedule

• Current Utah-Issued RN license in good standing
• Effective communication
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care

• Ordering medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed.
• Preparing and administering treatments/medications as ordered by the physician.
• Notify the resident's physician and/or family members when there is a change in the resident's condition.
• Administering professional nursing practice services such as tube feedings, suction, catheterization, changing of dressings, packs, and irrigations as necessary.
• Continuous observation and monitoring of seriously ill residents.
• Being the patient advocate and ensuring that other healthcare team members are providing care according to the resident's care plan and personal wishes.
• Accurately completing necessary charting as required and in a timely manner.
