Position OverviewNuTrail is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Marketing Director
to lead our brand into its next phase of growth.
This role will oversee brand marketing strategy, shopper marketing, digital marketing, PR, and consumer engagement across all channels
. You’ll work closely with the CMO and cross-functional teams, especially sales, to bring our mission to life and drive meaningful business results.
You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive annual brand marketing plan. This includes managing existing brand and shopper marketing programs and creating new, efficient, and scalable programs to support key consumption dates and product launches. You will work closely with the rest of the marketing team and cross-functional partners to ensure the successful implementation of integrated marketing campaigns.
You will take charge of NuTrail’s social media strategy, leading planning and execution to support business and marketing objectives. This includes developing a scalable content creation engine, maintaining a social media calendar with at least 45 days of content visibility, and ensuring effective monitoring and response to consumer comments and inquiries. Additionally, you will cultivate and manage partnerships with like-minded brands, influencers, and taste makers to expand our reach through coordinated content, collaborations, outreach, and giveaway opportunities.
In this role, you will also be responsible for defining, measuring, and tracking marketing KPIs to measure ROI and evaluate the effectiveness of our strategies and creative initiatives and driving to implications for improvement.
Responsibilities- Marketing Strategy:Develop and execute annual marketing plans that drive awareness, trial, and loyalty for NuTrail.
- Digital Marketing:Oversee paid and organic media, including: social media, influencer partnerships, website, SEO/SEM, email, and to drive acquisition and retention.
- Retailer Marketing:In collaboration with Sales and the Performance Marketing team, develop in-store marketing and retailer specific shopper marketing programs.
- Creative Development:Manage agency partners and internal teams to produce compelling campaigns and content.

Create and execute NuTrail’s partnership strategy to help expand the brand’s reach and build equity. - Public Relations

In collaboration with agency partner, lead NuTrail’s PR efforts, focusing on securing earned media placements with top tier outlets. - Agency Management
:
Own agency relationships with current shopper and design agency partners and additional future agency partners (eg social agency, PR agency). - Consumer Engagement:With the support of the marketing team,lead consumer engagement across social media channels anddirect contacts from consumers.
- Analytics & ROI:Collaborate with finance and analytics teams to measure marketing effectiveness and optimize spend.
- Team Leadership:Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team.
- 8+ years of brand marketing experience, ideally in the CPG space in US retail channels.
- Proven success building and scaling consumer brands in high-growth environments.
- Deep understanding of digital, social, influencer, and shopper marketing.
- Strong strategic thinking, campaign ideation, and creative problem-solving.
- Experience managing marketing budgets, developing junior marketers and working with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for health, wellness, and food innovation.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in high paced, dynamic environments with strong sense of ownership, organization and bias for action.
