Leader Communication Manager

Overview

Job Description The Leader Communication Manager is a career-level professional role that supports the organization through a primary focus on supporting and promoting communication efforts of senior Church leaders. This position is part of the Leader Communication section of the Social Media Strategy team and works closely with the Director of Social Media, senior leader support staff, and staff with communication roles in other departments to support communication initiatives involving senior Church leaders and identify creative ways to solve communications problems.

This role may be involved in influencing, modifying, or overseeing the development of digital and other content. This individual works with divine guidance to provide content solutions that further the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of gospel messages.

• Executes communication strategies and plans.
• Helps establish communication plans that support leader and content strategies.
• Analyzes problems using data to reach creative communication solutions.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to oversee content creation.
• Evaluates analytics to make recommendations for improvements.
• Contributes to defining, producing, editing, and distributing content to strengthen senior leader messages.
• Works with project managers to ensure successful development and distribution of senior leader messages.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.

Work Experience

• 4+ years of experience in communications or a related field.
