Production Manager

Our client, Unlimited Designs, is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead their production team. A Day in the Life of the Production Manager
As the Production Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of GFRC production, ensuring everything runs efficiently and smoothly. You’ll manage the production schedule, lead a team, and maintain high-quality standards. Your leadership will be key to improving processes, reducing defects, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading daily production meetings to align schedules and ensure deadlines are met
- Managing workforce allocation, scheduling, and labor efficiency
- Mentoring and coaching team leads to improve performance and foster collaboration
- Overseeing quality control processes and implementing improvements as needed
- Managing inventory and material procurement to prevent delays or shortages
- Ensuring adherence to 6S (Safety, Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) and lean manufacturing principles
- Conducting performance evaluations and providing actionable feedback
- Reviewing daily production reports, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions
- Ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and operational protocols
- Handling payroll accuracy and timecard management for production employees
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and coaching
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 6S principles, and process improvement
- Experience in Quality Control with inventory management, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams
- Ability to analyze production data and implement process improvements
- Comfortable working under deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
