We are looking for a competent Kitting and Assembly Worker with basic computer skills to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging small components with precision while utilizing computer systems to track inventory, update production records, and generate reports. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to follow structured assembly procedures, and a basic understanding of data entry and inventory management.
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring product quality and efficiency while supporting smooth operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Assemble, inspect, and package small components with precision
- Mark materials/products and verify box labels and skid tags
- Operate basic warehouse tools, including tape gun for secure packaging and pallet jack for moving materials safely
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Perform daily pre-inspection checklists and assist with inventory counts
- Report any quality issues and ensure finished goods meet specifications
- Utilize basic computer skills for inventory tracking and production updates
- Pack products, verify work orders, and help meet daily production targets
- Collaborate effectively with peers and management
- Attention to detail
- Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs) for 8+ hour shifts
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong attention to detail, dependable, and punctual
- Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed
- Experience using a tape gun and pallet jack preferred
