Position: Medical Manufacturing Quality Inspector on Rotating Day Shift

Overview

Our client, a leading organization in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a Medical Manufacturing Quality Inspector to join their dedicated team. As a Medical Manufacturing Quality Inspector on the Rotating Day Shift, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production and inspection teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Medical Manufacturing Quality Inspector

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Range: $19

Shift: 12-hour rotating shift, 6:30AM - 6:30PM

Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to inspection plans and specifications

  • Utilize microscopes, calipers, and micrometers to conduct detailed inspections and measurements

  • Support quality control activities including Non-Conformance reports and CAPA processes

  • Assist in maintaining compliance with internal procedures and external regulations such as cGMP and FDA standards

  • Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as needed

Qualifications
  • Prior Clean Room Experience with Medical Device Manufacturing Experience

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required; AA or technical degree preferred

  • Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry

  • Ability to perform inspection tasks using microscopes, calipers, and micrometers

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive inspection tasks

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and understand work instructions
