Overview

Hydro Blaster Technician. USA DeBusk is a mechanical and industrial cleaning services provider serving the downstream energy market. We offer maintenance and turnaround services including hydro blasting, hydro cutting, hydro excavation, chemical cleaning, PEPTM polymer extraction service, vacuum services, tank cleaning, degassing/vapor control, FCC catalyst handling and transportation, and specialty turnaround services. Founded in 2012, USA DeBusk operates in 24 cities with services internationally.

Summary/Objective:
The Hydro Blaster Technician will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of the whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials, emergency response, vacuum truck operations, waste disposal, site remediation, and high-pressure water blasting.

• Operate and set up all necessary cleaning equipment such as high-pressure pumps, in-service line hydro-blasting, and vacuum equipment, in accordance with operational guidelines, training, and safety procedures.
• Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work safely around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial settings.
• Manually clean, install, and repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and other equipment on tanks.
• Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and the general work area prior to starting any job. Inform supervisor of deficiencies that may cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s license or State issued  – must be valid.
• TWIC card in hand or ability to obtain a TWIC card.
• Must be capable of passing a hair follicle and urine drug screen.
• Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic safety training skills.
• Hydro blasting or pressure cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• General labor experience is a plus.

• Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods of time if necessary.
• Physically capable of climbing, balancing, bending/stooping, and kneeling continually.
