Wheeler Machinery in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a full-time Service Technician
4. This position is responsible for assisting with the disassembly of all engine components in a timely and efficient manner. The Service Technician will help maintain the smooth flow of jobs through the shop and ensure quality standards are met in every task. Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to learn, show consistent improvement from job to job, and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
and Responsibilities
- Inspecting parts and finding worn parts.
- Learning SIS and Cat components.
- Helping others assemble and disassemble components.
- Working with others to get the job through the shop.
- Looking up parts and processes on SIS.
- Being able to help make lift plans on components.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma
- Knowledge of Cat SIS
- Safety minded
- Have tools up to 3/4 drive standard and metric.
- At least 1-2 years of Caterpillar power train components experience.
