Plant Manager
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Reports to: VP of Operations
Compensation: $130 - $150K + bonus

The Plant Manager provides hands‑on leadership for day‑to‑day plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, quality, and inventory control. This role works closely with all cross‑functional teams to execute weekly schedules, meet deadlines, and maintain a safe, efficient operation. The Plant Manager supports continuous improvement and LEAN practices while stabilizing and driving performance across the plant.
What You’ll Do- Oversee daily plant operations and resolve production issues as they arise.
- Develop and manage production schedules aligned with demand, capacity, and material availability.
- Communicate schedule changes across operations, engineering, and supply chain teams.
- Partner with Supply Chain to plan material purchases and manage weekly releases.
- Allocate labor and resources to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Coach and support supervisors and production teams to achieve daily objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, scrap reduction, and cost control.
- Manage operating budgets and support cost reduction efforts.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience leading plant or manufacturing operations in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong production planning, scheduling, and resource management skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement and LEAN methodologies.
- Ability to lead teams, provide feedback, and manage performance effectively.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross‑functional teams.
- Working knowledge of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational best practices.
