Job Description Production Operator

Night Shift: 7pm - 7am; 2-2-3 Schedule; $21 per hour

Day shift, 7am - 7pm, 2-2-3 Schedule; $20 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join production of extrusion pipe department in Salt Lake City. This position involves utilizing standard tools and measuring devices to ensure that the final product meets customer specifications.

• Utilize standard tools and measuring devices to ensure the final product meets customer specifications.

• Identify and address any basic abnormalities in the product.

• Perform lifting of products.

• Ensure the final product is wrapped neatly around the reel while maintaining quality checks.

• Work in a manufacturing environment.

• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working space.

• Manufacturing and production experience.

• Basic machine operating skills.

• Mechanical assembly and aptitude.

• Experience with hand and power tools.

• Minimum of year of recent manufacturing experience.

• Consistent work history within manufacturing/production.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt.

Work in a clean, mostly climate-controlled manufacturing facility. Embrace a team-oriented environment with a non-climate controlled section. The role involves working a 12-hour shift with alternating schedules of 48 hours one week and 36 hours the next, following a 2-2-3 schedule.

Candidate must able to submit to a pre-employment drug and background check.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
