Fab Production Team Lead

Oversee daily production activities to ensure schedules, quality, and safety goals are achieved.

Assign work, monitor progress, and adjust resources as needed to meet production targets.

Support and coach production team members in standard work, efficiency, and problem-solving.

Ensure compliance with safety policies, operating procedures, and quality standards.

Communicate effectively with Production Manager, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to resolve issues and maintain workflow.

Assist in training new employees and reinforcing best practices across shifts.

Monitor equipment performance, report downtime, and coordinate maintenance needs.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Maintain accurate records of production data, attendance, and performance.

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.

3+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or team lead role.

Strong understanding of production processes, quality systems, and safety practices.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead by example and foster a positive, accountable team environment.

Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems preferred).

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs frequently.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Must be able to assist with team lifting of loads exceeding 50 lbs occasionally.

Must be able to stand for the entire length of the shift (up to 10 hours).

Must be able to work in and around manufacturing and production equipment.

Frequent climbing of ladders, bending, stooping, standing, walking, twisting, kneeling, and reaching.

Must be able to see and hear to acknowledge critical safety instructions, alarms, forklift traffic, and perform quality and equipment inspections.

Must be able to sustain repetitive movement of both upper and lower extremities with varying degrees of force.

Must be able to push and pull up to 100 pounds of force regularly, including moving pallets, carts, glass/plastic sheets, and boxes using a hand truck or similar equipment.
