A well-capitalized, national multifamily owner-operator is seeking an experienced Property Manager to lead a stabilized but operationally demanding, ~300-unit, two-building mixed-income community (80% market / 20% affordable) in Salt Lake City.
This is a high-visibility role with strong executive support and an immediate need for a steady, customer-focused leader who can bring consistency, accountability, and strong on-site leadership.
The OpportunityYou’ll step into a community that is finally in a good place operationally—but needs a proven Property Manager to maintain momentum, lead the team, and elevate resident experience. This is not a turnaround role, but it does require maturity, judgment, and leadership presence.
What You’ll Be Responsible For- Full operational oversight of two adjacent multifamily buildings (~300 units total)
- Leadership of on-site staff including:
- Assistant Property Manager
- Leasing professional(s)
- Maintenance Supervisor and maintenance team
- Driving high-touch customer service
, particularly within a mixed-income resident population - Partnering with a centralized compliance team while handling on-site affordable housing interactions and documentation
- Budget management, reporting, and collaboration with regional leadership
- Maintaining standards, accountability, and morale in a historically high-turnover market
- 3–5+ years of Property Manager experience (multifamily required)
- Affordable / mixed-income housing experience is required
- Proven ability to lead maintenance and leasing teams
- Strong customer service orientation with professionalism and empathy
- Tech-savvy and operationally organized
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a strong plus (maintenance team is Spanish-speaking)
- Must be local / commutable and able to work on-site full-time
- Base salary target: up to $110K–$120K (depending on experience)
