Location/
Schedule:
This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule.
- Provide leadership to direct reports, including hiring, training, and development.
- Support the development and monitoring of HR metrics to measure program effectiveness.
- Partner with leaders to address workforce needs, talent gaps, and organizational challenges.
- Ensure HR policies and practices are consistently applied, escalating or recommending updates as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies, and team member satisfaction.
- Advise and counsel managers on employee relations, performance management, and engagement strategies.
- Support change management initiatives through communication, training, and adoption efforts.
- Collaborate across business units to ensure HR solutions align with organizational objectives.
- 3–5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, People Partner, or similar role.
- 2–3 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
- Knowledge of current HR trends, best practices, and applicable state and federal laws.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate alternatives and drive results.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening and customer service capabilities.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications.
- Pay Range: $115,000–$125,000/year DOE + Bonus Opportunities
- The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, including experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
