We are seeking a proven, results-oriented sales leader to own and scale our Admissions function while contributing to the institution’s strategic growth. Neumont University is a small, computer science–focused, regionally accredited institution located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Our fast-paced, intense, and collaborative environment is dedicated to educating, mentoring, and developing students into successful tech professionals. The Admissions team plays a critical role in this mission, working closely with marketing and institutional leaders. The Vice President of Admissions is responsible for leading people, processes, systems, and strategy, and partners with senior leadership in shaping the institution’s overall direction.
TASKS,DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Primarily responsible for, and the primary visionary of, the institution’s admissions strategy and contribute to the overall recruitment strategy.
- Leader of the admissions team; responsible for inspiring and motivating the team to achieve their team and individual goals.
- Supervisor and manager of all staff in the admissions department.
- Primarily responsible for the continued design, implementation, and measurement of all admissions-related processes and procedures.
- Ensure consistent efforts by admissions staff toward approved admissions processes, workflow, and daily activity, productivity and output.
- Chiefly responsible to ensure accurate and consistent compliance with all admissions-related regulations. Ensure full compliance with internal, accreditor, and Department of Ed regulations, guidelines, and procedures for record-keeping and other data storage processes. Ensure compliance at all times with federal, state, and accreditation laws, standards, and regulations.
- Provide institution leaders with accurate, timely, professional-quality reporting on admissions-related activities and functions.
- Work Collaboratively with the Marketing Department, Financial Aid Department, and other areas of the institution to develop and maintain the admissions office's recruitment and marketing plan with the purpose of promoting Neumont’s visibility and general recruitment efforts.
- Lead by example in work ethic, attitude, enthusiasm, honesty, and collaboration with others. Assist admissions staff with advising and decision-making for admissions-related situations or concerns.

- Develop and adhere to admissions budgets.
- Oversee the institution’s Student Ambassador program including the hiring, training, and scheduling of student staff.
- Executes all duties in a timely manner
- Seeks opportunities to promote a collegial, educational environment throughout the campus
- Sustains cordial, professional relationships with all students, staff, parents, and community members
- Participates/leads meetings and sits on committees as directed by immediate supervisor
- Is eagerly involved in the Neumont community, even outside of regular business hours as needed
- Is a team player and willingly collaborates with others
- Attends company events and activities
- Abides by the policies outlined in the Neumont Employee Handbook
- 10+ years’ experience in higher education admissions-related functions
- 5+ years’ experience leading higher education admissions teams
- Experience working with institution leadership to develop and implement admissions- and marketing-related strategies and tactics
- Experience developing and supervising professional staff
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Access
- Creative, persistent, and self-motivated in using data to detect trends, build plans, make forecasts, etc.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within the U.S. without sponsorship
Full-time (40+ hours/week)
Possible regular evenings and weekends, with advance notice.
LOCATION:On-site, in person.

PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS:Rare travel, including via air for periods up to 5 days
