• Shift Details
• Monday–Friday, Afternoon Shift, 1:00pm–5:00pm
• Location:
  
  Conference Center Building, Salt Lake City, Utah
• Compensation: $18.00/hr
• Must be willing to work rotating weekends (every 7th Saturday); and events and holidays as scheduled
• This is a part-time position without medical benefits.
• Please Note:
  
  This position does not qualify for students required to work on the Ensign College Campus.

Here’s What You’ll Do On A Standard Day Of Work:

• Sanitize public areas, offices, and restrooms daily or as instructed (includes cleaning toilets as needed)
• Dust or Polish furnishings, light fixtures, windowsills, wood paneling, etc.
• Spot clean carpets, rugs and upholstery, restock supplies, remove leaves or snow, and dispose of trash and other waste
• Attend meetings and trainings crafted to increase knowledge and abilities
• Operate mechanized cleaning equipment, vacuums, buffers, large scrubbers and sweepers, and extraction equipment (equipment training provided)
• Perform emergency cleanups including floods, spills, and other incidents
• Report safety or security issues and needed repairs

What Will Make You Successful In This Job

• Hardworking individuals who can independently lift and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, push, pull, twist, bend, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
• Ability to complete vital tasks and handle basic issues and solve problems professionally
• Ability to work alone without constant supervision but also contribute to a team
• Willingness to work with various cleaning solvents and chemicals and to follow regulations for safe chemical handling in damp, dusty, or dirty areas
• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in English for video training, building security, and safety purposes, including asking clarifying questions as needed

Any previous experience or knowledge of custodial practices is welcomed but not required.
