ResponsibilitiesFacilities / Maintenance Technician, II
Perform general maintenance and repairs including light carpentry, basic electrical, HVAC, grounds maintenance, and arranging furniture and partitions. Assist employees with internal moves. May work with specialized outside contractors. May have some formal training in one or more trades. Completes routine tasks under moderate supervision. Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
Facilities / Maintenance Technician, III
Perform general maintenance and repairs including light carpentry, basic electrical, HVAC, grounds maintenance, and arranging furniture and partitions. Assist employees with internal moves. May work with specialized outside contractors. May have some formal training in one or more trades. Completes assignments with little supervision. May assist less-experienced team members. Requires 3+ years of related experience.
Minimum QualificationsEQUIVALENCY STATEMENT : 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
Department may hire employee at one of the following job levels:
Facilities / Maintenance Technician, II: Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
Facilities / Maintenance Technician, III : Requires 3+ years of related experience.
