Ready Mix Concrete Driver

Ready Mix Truck Driver role at Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction.

• Load your truck with ready mix concrete
• Drive the concrete to the job site
• Help unload the mixed concrete
• Inspect your truck for mechanical issues
• Perform or outsource maintenance

• High School diploma/GED
• Minimum of 6 months operator experience
• CDL Class A license with Tanker endorsement
• Willing to do labor work
• Ability to work as a team member and maintain a professional attitude
• Motivated self-starter and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work safely under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment
• Frequent cross-body movements, bending, climbing into equipment, lifting up to 75 lbs, twisting, standing, balancing, stooping, handling materials, and moving around hazardous sites
• Good eye-to-hand coordination and depth perception
• Flexible availability including overtime and possible weekends
• Ability to communicate clearly and listen to ensure full understanding of job duties, safety regulations, and other situations requiring immediate response
