Who We’re Looking For
As a key member of the Salt Lake City Facilities team, the Facilities Associate will perform basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks, according to service, quality, and safety standards under moderate supervision.
- Utilize the work order system to log activities and support performing or overseeing facilities maintenance or repairs of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems.
- Assist with production support operations and miscellaneous facilities projects including painting, drywall, carpentry, fixture installations, furniture assembly, and moving furniture or materials.
- Assist with delivering packages between company buildings and perform snow removal as needed.
- Assist with the security badging system – create and distribute s as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness of all facilities (common areas, kitchens, office areas, and bathrooms) and the exterior of the building (planters, ashtrays, trash containers, entrance ways, dumpsters, etc.).
- Accompany contractors/vendors for building and facilities issues including electrical, HVAC repairs, cleaning services, mat replacement, etc.
- Participate in the health and safety committee as an employee representative. Assist the Health & Safety Committee to ensure required repairs/work are completed in compliance with H&S requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of building maintenance, trade, or contracting experience in mechanical, HVAC, wall repair, and electrical
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to take directions and execute as instructed with a proactive problem-solving approach
- Effective time management, strong organizational skills, and ability to work with little supervision
- Good verbal and written communication skills (English) mandatory
- Ability and willingness to lift up to 75 lbs (up to 40 lbs daily and 75 lbs occasionally)
- Valid driver’s license required
