Associate Attorney; Corporate

Overview

Kirton McConkie, a large Salt Lake City law firm, is seeking an associate attorney to work in its corporate practice group.

• Apply general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, securities act reporting and capital markets, fund formation and debt finance experience to client matters.
• Prepare stock and asset purchase agreements, private placement memoranda and SEC reporting and registrations.

• Three to four years of experience in one or more of the following: general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities act reporting and capital markets, fund formation and debt finance.
• Experience in preparing stock and asset purchase agreements, private placement memoranda and SEC reporting and registrations.
• Excellent academic credentials; demonstrated a commitment to ethics; highly motivated and hard-working; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in the corporate/business/securities group of a large law firm.
• Bar admission: member of the Utah Bar or willing to take the Utah Bar. If not currently a member of the Utah Bar, the applicant must be a member of the Bar of another U.S. state.
