Job RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in domestic and international venture financings, private company mergers and acquisitions and general corporate governance. Candidates will ideally have a strong working knowledge of venture capital forms and financings, acquisition agreements and other documentation used in M&A transactions and proficiency in drafting the same. Spanish and/or Portuguese language fluency is ideal. Candidates should be well-versed in the mechanics of leading a venture capital financing and M&A transaction from inception to closing and have experience leading due diligence teams.
This position requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have the ability to work effectively as part of a team across practice areas and a willingness to train junior associates. Strong academic credentials and writing skills are essential.
