TheOpportunity
We’re expanding in the Mountain West and need a Sales Development Representative to own new-logo growth across the West/Central US. You’ll quarterback deals from first outreach to signed contract, working hand-in-glove with marketing, product, and exec leadership. This is a high-visibility role with a clear path to building—and leading—your own team as we accelerate.
What You’ll Do- Lead the Territory. Craft and execute a territory plan laser-focused on mid-market and enterprise SaaS, fintech, and manufacturing accounts.
- Ownership. Own and continuously evolve Akitra’s outbound lead generation playbook in partnership with leadership
- Hunt. Source pipeline via outbound, Linked In, partners, events, and inbound.
- Sell the Mission. Translate messy compliance pain points into a clear ROI for CISOs, CTOs, and Compliance leaders.
- Crush the Number. Hit and exceed quarterly and annual quotas, then help raise the bar.
- Shape the Future. Mentor rising reps, refine our GTM playbook, and influence product roadmaps with on-the-ground feedback.
- Strong hunter mentality. You love creating conversations, following up, and driving outcomes.
- Excellent verbal communication skills: clear, confident, and empathetic.
- Proven track record of exceeding activity and performance goals (calls, meeting sets, pipeline)
- Experience with CRM tools (Hub Spot), Linked In and outreach platforms preferred.
- Self-motivated, coachable, and metrics-driven.
- Leadership mindset—whether you’ve managed people already or are eager for that next step.
- Bonus. Fluency in SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST or the curiosity and hustle to master them fast.
