Asst IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the technology infrastructure of an organization, ensuring systems run efficiently, securely, and align with business goals. They lead IT teams, manage projects, and act as a bridge between technical operations and strategic objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise IT staff, assign tasks, and provide training.
Recruit, interview, and onboard IT personnel.
Systems & Infrastructure
Ensure smooth operation of networks, servers, and hardware.
Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and systems.
Security & Compliance
Implement cybersecurity measures and monitor threats.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies.
Project Management
Plan and execute IT projects (system upgrades, migrations, integrations).
Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships.
Support & Troubleshooting
Provide technical support to staff and resolve escalated issues.
Maintain documentation of IT processes and troubleshooting guides.
Strategic Alignment
Collaborate with leadership to align IT strategy with business goals.
Identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation.
Qualifications RequiredSkills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security protocols.
Leadership and team management experience.
Project management skills (Agile, Scrum, or PMP certification preferred).
Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5–7 years of IT experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
