In this role, you will identify and define user/customer requirements, focusing on developing user interfaces (UI) across various platforms such as mobile, web, and tablets. You will be responsible for creating software components and services that interact seamlessly with upstream and downstream components, ensuring that business requirements are met through effective coding and programming.
Your key responsibilitiesAs a Senior Application Designer and Developer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions. Your time will be spent on various responsibilities, including:
- Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needs.
- Designing and developing user interfaces that are not only functional but also enhance user experience.
- Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives.
Regular travel may be required to meet with clients, providing you with the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders.

On your typical engagement, you will work with the key stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on SAP system capabilities. You will initiate the requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing, complete the workflow and documentation, as well as the functional design of the solution. Liaise with the stakeholders and technical team to translate needs into business solutions and complete the configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Ability to demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and possess strong business acumen. Demonstrate ability to assimilate new knowledge.
- Ability to consistently deliver quality client services. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.

- A four-year bachelor’s degree.
- Typically, no less than 2-4 years in a relevant field, specifically working on integrations with SAP systems.
- Experience designing and implementing SAP integration scenarios using tools such as SAP PI/PO, SAP CIG, and SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Trading Partner Management, Advanced Event Mesh, Edge Integration Cell).
- Experience with non-SAP integration platforms (e.g. Mule Soft, Boomi, Informatica) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience building interfaces using APIs (OData, SOAP), events, ABAP proxies, RFCs, IDocs and file-based integrations.
- Experience developing integration architectures and strategies that ensure data quality, consistency and system integrity.
