About eBay LiveeBay Live is a new way to sell on eBay, where sellers and buyers interact live on video. eBay sellers build buyer trust, expand their customer base, and grow repeat business through consistent and engaging live streams on eBay Live. eBay buyers can view, chat, ask questions, give feedback, vote, and buy online during eBay Live selling.
About the roleeBay Live is redefining how sellers engage customers through real-time commerce. We’re hiring a Senior Manager, Scaled Seller Enablement to build and operationalize solutions to reduce friction for our Live Sellers an Individual Contributor on the Product & Operations team, you will operate as an internal consultant focused on building operational processes and informing product roadmaps that will help our unmanaged sellers succeed.
You will build for scale, maintain a global perspective, and develop clean and repeatable tooling (SOPs, dashboards, change management plans, etc) to ensure process adoption before moving to the next highest-impact problem. You will also drive discovery for ambiguous problems, design program KPIs and guardrails, and make cross-initiative tradeoffs to further the business unit’s overall strategy.
What you will accomplish:
Responsibilities- Develop Seller Strategy:
Use internal and external data to identify opportunities and challenges across the eBay Live seller journey, with a focus on scaling support for unmanaged sellers. - Drive discovery for complex problems and deliver clear proposals, prioritization frameworks, and project roadmaps to executive audiences.
- Backlog Triage & Portfolio Management:
Analyze internal and external seller friction points across application, onboarding, activation, and ongoing selling. - Size the impact of identified issues and recommend focus areas for resolution in partnership with Ops, Product, and PMM teams.
- Build & Operationalize Solutions:
Design scalable, ops-led solutions across seller onboarding, lifecycle communications, enablement, and support content. - Partner with Product and PMM to gather requirements, support feature launches, and ensure seller readiness through education and communications.
- Stand up programs, SOPs, and best practices across regions, accounting for localization needs and driving adoption through change management.
- Influence, Measure, and Learn:
Align and influence cross-functional stakeholders including Category, Customer Success, Product, Legal, PMM, and Finance. - Define KPIs, track success, measure ROI, and feed insights back into the Seller Success roadmap.
- Keep the eBay Live seller at the center of the work, identifying opportunities to increase seller effectiveness and GMV.
- 7–9+ years in Strategy & Operations, program delivery, or consulting-style roles with building, scaling, and managing complex cross-functional programs
- Self-starter with a proven track record of developing strategy, managing dependencies, influencing executive-level leaders and driving ownership across cross-functional teams
- Strategic thinking capabilities, including the ability to share insights to inform business planning initiatives, develop cross-functional frameworks for success, and build cases for investment
- Strong analytical skills, a proven track record of translating insights into actionable strategic plans, and demonstrable experience of innovative problem-solving at scale
