Aero-Graphics is currently seeking a full-time, 30-hours per week (benefited) IT Specialist Help Desk position for our South Salt Lake, Utah office. This is an in-office position. Pay is $20-$23/hour DOE.
The IT Specialist will be the first point of contact for employees needing technical assistance from the IT Department. This position will primarily be responsible for addressing daily trouble tickets, including the resolution of basic hardware and software issues through troubleshooting, password resets, and account management, while escalating more complex problems to higher level support teams when necessary. The position requires strong communication skills and a foundational understanding of IT systems.
WhatYou Will Do
- Perform basic troubleshooting on user devices, consisting primarily of software and hardware issues
- Ensure proper asset management and record keeping of issues
- Maintain and update documentation, including all incidents in IT ticketing software
- Assist the IT Director with the implementation of technology projects
- Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, workstations and/or other related equipment and devices
- Basic troubleshooting on user devices, consisting primarily of software and hardware issues
- Some network and systems troubleshooting
- This position requires you to be onsite in our South Salt Lake City office
- A+ Certification or equivalent required
- 2 years’ experience with troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving basic computer and related systems issues
- Monday - Friday 7am-4pm
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facilities and under desks
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Knowledge of all Microsoft 365 applications. Microsoft 365 Certification highly desired
- Previous experience with Active directory
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are critical, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Decision-making skills, including the ability to recognize when help is needed or incidents need to be escalated
- Prior Experience with ticketing systems
- Interest in learning and advancing in the IT field
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
- This position requires you to be onsite
