About the role
  • We’re looking for an Onboarding Specialist to join our IT team, someone who loves technology, thrives on variety, and enjoys working closely with clients. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for new customers, guiding them through the onboarding process from start to finish. You’ll manage projects, communicate clearly in both technical and non-technical terms, and ensure every client has a world-class experience.

What you'll do
  • Manage New Client Onboarding: Oversee the entire onboarding process from initial contact to full implementation, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every client.
  • Communicate Effectively: Adapt communication style to suit technical or non-technical audiences, providing clear explanations and guidance at every step.
  • Understand Client Needs: Take time to learn each client’s goals, processes, and pain points to deliver tailored solutions that meet expectations.
  • Provide Multi-Channel Support: Assist clients via email, text, phone, and remote sessions, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and issues.

    Experience:

    Identify opportunities to enhance onboarding workflows and suggest improvements that create a more efficient and enjoyable process.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with internal teams to resolve challenges, share insights, and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Deliver World-Class Service: Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer care, ensuring clients feel supported and valued throughout their journey.
Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of routing and switching
    , including troubleshooting both technologies
  • Proficiency with popular software from vendors such as Microsoft, Adobe, Salesforce, Intuit
    , etc.
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Fundamental firewall knowledge, including SSL VPN creation and user account management
  • Ability to build a desktop from components
  • Strong customer service skills
    , including professional telephone etiquette
  • Excellent ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships across all organizational levels
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • Problem-solving skills: identify and resolve issues promptly, analyze information effectively, and work well in team settings
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Self-starter with strong follow-through
  • Current industry certifications are a plus but not required
  • Professional appearance and punctuality
  • Ability to pass random drug tests and a background check
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
    , clean driving record, and reliable transportation for travel to customer locations
