IAM Security Engineer

Rockwoods is hiring an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer with strong expertise in Forge Rock IDM and modern authentication technologies. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and supporting secure identity, authentication, and authorization solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and enterprise system integrations.

• Design, configure, and manage Forge Rock IDM to support identity lifecycle management.
• Implement and maintain SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2 protocols for secure authentication and federation.
• Develop and enhance SSO solutions across enterprise applications.
• Build, integrate, and automate web services/APIs to support IAM workflows.
• Work closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to align with enterprise security standards.
• Utilize Git for version control of IAM configurations and custom components.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based environments supporting IAM platforms.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support materials for IAM solutions.

• Proven hands-on experience with Forge Rock IDM.
• Strong knowledge of SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, and SSO concepts.
• Experience using Git for source control and collaboration.
• Solid understanding of Linux system administration.
• Expertise in developing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in IAM environments.

• Experience with additional Forge Rock components (AM, DS).
• Exposure to cloud-based IAM platforms such as Azure AD or AWS Cognito.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices for IAM deployment and automation.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or IAM-specific credentials.
