Cap Tech is seeking a strategic Technical Business Analyst (BSA) to be the critical link between our client’s business vision and our technology delivery teams. This role will be at the center of major integration and modernization efforts, driving projects that re‑imagine how core business functions operate.

• Blueprint the Future State – Evaluate the client’s current processes, perform gap analyses, and work with leadership to define an optimized future state and success metrics.
• Translate Business Vision into Technical Reality – Own elicitation, analysis and definition of business needs, then translate them into clear technical requirements, user stories and process flows for engineering.
• Architect the Solution alongside Engineering – Partner directly with technical architects and developers to shape solution design, contributing to data modeling, interface design and system behavior to embed business logic into technology.
• Become the Trusted Advisor – Embed yourself in the client’s world, becoming the go‑to expert on their business challenges and system capabilities, connecting business and IT stakeholders.

• 8+ years of experience as a Technical Business Systems Analyst on complex, technology‑driven projects.
• Proven expertise and leadership in mapping complex business processes and designing future‑state workflows using sequence, data flow and process flow diagrams.
• Hands‑on ability to write and execute basic SQL queries to analyze data, understand current‑state data structures, and inform solution design.
• Strong familiarity with multi‑system integration, modern IT architecture (APIs, cloud services), and object‑oriented concepts.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills, confident in advising senior leadership and guiding technical teams.
• A proactive, consulting mindset: solve problems, bring clarity to ambiguity; prior consulting experience highly preferred.
• Experience in Agile and waterfall environments; JIRA and ADO a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business or related field.
