Purpose
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) guides and supports the organization in employee and industrial relations by building and fostering relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. The HRBP provides integrated HR services and solutions that support the business strategy and enhance organisational capability.

Key Accountabilities Information & Business Advice- Resolve complex queries from employees, managers, or suppliers regarding HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Provide advice on employee relations, performance management, leave management, awards, agreements, and conditions of employment.
- Ensure all advice is legally compliant, timely, industry best practice, and adds value to the business.
- Conduct investigations into grievances, performance, and disciplinary matters.
- Coordinate employee exits and manage relevant documentation.
- Monitor organisational trends in employee relations and implement strategies to address issues.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation, awards, and regulatory changes impacting HR practices.
- Review HR policies to ensure relevance, accuracy, and ease of interpretation.
- Act as a trusted business partner, building professional credibility and mutual trust with internal clients.
- Support leaders and employees throughout the employee lifecycle from recruitment to exit.
- Adapt to changing business needs while maintaining high‑quality HR service delivery.
- Share best practices and coach managers to improve organisational capability.
- Implement HR strategies for the region and contribute to broader HR objectives.
- Support HR services such as Talent Acquisition, Organisational Development, and Analytics.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance HR effectiveness.
- Promote a flexible, adaptable, and high‑performing organisational culture.
- Challenge peers or superiors respectfully when necessary and provide constructive alternatives.
- Hold self and others accountable for delivering results.

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR advisory role.
- Experience in the mining or resources industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, industrial relations, performance management, and employment legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
- Ability to work across teams, functions, and geographies in a collaborative manner.
- Courage and professionalism in addressing challenging HR matters.
