Position: Reservations Coordinator - Hilton Salt Lake City Center

Overview

Schedule: Monday - Friday between 9:00am-5:30pm or 8:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities
  • Assist group and individual reservations in the hotel’s effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
  • Answer calls, return e-mails and voicemails. Assist guests in booking reservations by providing superior property knowledge.
  • Build Group SRPs. Audit OnQ PM, R&I and Passkey for reservations, inventory and rate accuracy. Identify special requests, coding issues and billing accuracy.
  • Enter airline crew room blocks and reservation changes.
  • Review actualized rooms for potential billing errors.
  • Review group pickup, assist in forecasting and ensure proper availability.
  • Provide professional, sincere, courteous, concise and knowledgeable service and communication to all guests and associates.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all areas of the reservations process, systems, and general hotel operations.
  • Coordinate room reservations and related functions with in-house departments and clients.
  • Maintain ownership of group blocks, including pickup numbers, reservation methods, billing, and proper treatment of VIP guests.
  • Coordinate tasks with other departments to ensure they are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Maintain consistency and attention to detail; information provided is relied upon by several departments to sustain guest and group satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience within the hotel industry.
  • Reservations experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of OnQ, Passkey, and R&I is highly preferred.
