Job Summary

Postdoc with a primary duty consisting of research-related work. Required to meet FLSA threshold to be paid on a salaried basis, employment record will convert to hourly. Investigational work in heart failure and transplantation, including database studies, translational science, and clinical trial involvement.

Responsibilities
  • You will report directly to the PI. Your responsibilities will include research and evaluation of clinical data in heart failure, amyloidosis, and heart transplant. You will participate in data analysis and in the preparation of scientific presentations and manuscripts for publication.
  • Participate in an ongoing clinical trial that is evaluating non-invasive surveillance after heart transplantation. The goal is to enroll patients, assure adherence to study procedures, and analyze the resulting data.
  • Participate in a clinical trial that is evaluating the use of empagliflozin after heart transplantation. The goal is to enroll patients, assure adherence to study procedures, and analyze the resulting data.
  • You will participate in the analysis of outcomes in patients with cardiac amyloidosis. You will work closely with the research team to establish scientific questions and analyze results.
