Overview
The Division of Medical Genetics at the University of Utah School of Medicine is recruiting for a Medical Geneticist to deliver medical care and assist in the management of patients with genetic and metabolic disorders. Clinical activities will be carried out at Primary Children's Hospital at both the Salt Lake City and Lehi, Utah campuses, the University of Utah Hospital, and outreach clinics within and outside Utah.
There is also an expectation for academic work including education, investigation, administration, and advocacy.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Medical Genetics, Medical Genetics and Genomics, and Medical Biochemical Genetics.
- The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Clinical Track at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Provide medical care and assist in the management of patients with genetic and metabolic disorders.
- Perform clinical activities at Primary Children's Hospital (Salt Lake City and Lehi campuses), University of Utah Hospital, and outreach clinics within and outside Utah.
- Engage in academic activities including education, investigation, administration, and advocacy.
