RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 24-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit

• Patient ratios: 1:2 standard (1:3 for PCU boarders, 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity patients with IABP, CRRT, or open hearts)

• Scheduling options:
Straight nights or 50/50 schedule

• Required to work 3 weekend shifts within a 4-week period

• Must have Utah RN license at time of submission

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required (will consider 1 year with strong experience)

• Cardiac nursing experience required

• Experience with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, arterial lines, and other ICU skills

• Handle procedures including rapid sequence intubations, central line placements, bronchoscopy, intubation, arterial line placement, and chest tube placement

• ACLS certification required

• Floating responsibilities to PCU or as sitter anywhere in hospital inpatient units

• Documentation system: EPIC

• Dress code:
Caribbean blue scrubs

• Must be outgoing team player with strong communication skills
