RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 24-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

• Patient ratios: 1:2 (1:3 for PCU boarders, 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity patients including IABP, CRRT, open hearts)

• Schedule options: straight nights or 50/50 rotation

• Must work 3 weekend shifts within a 4-week period

• Must have Utah RN license at time of submission

• 2 years of ICU experience required, will consider 1 year of strong experience

• Cardiac nursing experience required

• ACLS certification required

• Must be comfortable with rapid sequence intubations, central line placements, and arterial line placements

• Experience required with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, and other ICU skills

• Procedures performed include bronchoscopy, intubation, and chest tube placement

• Floating required to PCU or as a sitter anywhere in hospital inpatient areas

• Documentation system: EPIC

• Dress code:
Caribbean blue scrubs

• Must be an outgoing team player
