Phlebotomist

IVIRMA North America network of state‑of‑the‑art fertility practices in the United States is currently seeking a Phlebotomist to join RMA of Utah.

This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.

• Properly identifies patients.
• Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
• Conducts blood draws, labels specimens, and centrifuges specimens.
• Stores and transports specimen samples according to the procedures to maintain specimen integrity.
• Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Maintains a clean and stocked phlebotomy area.
• Reassures patients and provides comfort to ease anxieties.

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program – highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).

• 3+ years’ recent work performing venipunctures in a fast‑paced lab or hospital setting – required.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
  Word, and Outlook – required.
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience – required.
