Job Summary
This position will play a key role in analyzing financial data and supporting strategic decision-making for the Budget Office.
Analyze budgets that allocate current resources and estimate future financial requirements. Examine, analyze, and determine margin increases and efficiency improvements.
Provide assistance and advice regarding the preparation of organizational and departmental budgets.
Analyze department budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls. Consolidate departmental budgets into operating and capital budget summaries.
Monitor and review the budget to determine if allocated funds are appropriately spent.
Compile reports on actual and budget data.
Support departmental transactions and related issues; adapt to evolving departmental needs and contribute to future budget and expense model development.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requires basic skill set and proficiency. Conducts work assignments as directed. Closely supervised with little latitude for independent judgment.
Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience or a master’s (or equivalency) degree.
