Assistant Controller​/Sr. Accountant

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, OR 5+ years relevant experience
• 5+ years of accounting experience with the ability to handle AR, AP, GL, and Payroll functions routinely
• Experience creating and preparing C-level financial presentations and recommendations
• Desire and ability tackle expanded workload to prepare for promotion and future internal growth
• Advanced experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
• A polished ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
• A self-starter with a distinct interest in using talents to drive the growth of an organization
• An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to operate independently in a start-up-like environment
• Described by others as someone they would like to work with
• Create financial reporting based on both ad-hoc and routine requests
• Create AR, AP & GL entries
• Routinely reconcile financials, bookings, and bank accounts
• Actively participate in month-end close
• Participate in annual budget setting and planning
