As a Sales and Use Tax Senior, you will apply your knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes for complex issues.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Work across a diverse array of projects and tasks, providing up‑to‑the‑minute tax advice to clients.
- Collaborate in a highly collaborative culture, sharing information with colleagues.
- Analyze a portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
- Identify potential opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients.
- Learn and research current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Develop clear, intelligent plans to improve clients’ tax activities.
- Research clients’ business operations and build relationships to tailor advice.
- Supervise a motivated team of professionals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- Professional knowledge in sales and use tax processes, concepts, and tools.
- Proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
- Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
- Ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects.
- Strong influencing skills and confidence to question existing processes.
- Willingness to travel and ability to work in a balanced hybrid environment.
- Achieved or partially achieved CPA qualification, membership in a professional taxation body, or ability to sit for a state bar.
- Competitive compensation and benefits: base salary $81,700–$135,000; $98,100–$153,500 for certain metro areas; full benefits package including medical, dental, pension, 401(k), paid time off.
