Applies consultative sales and relationship management practices to generate leads and close sales of treasury management and payment solutions for new and existing clients while ensuring regulatory compliance. Monitors implementation activities to ensure alignment with timelines. Provides tailored treasury management solutions and optimizes sales processes through continuous process improvements to enhance client experiences and business outcomes. Manages sales processes, client engagement and outcomes.
Responsibilities- Manages complex client sales inquiries related to product offerings, pricing, and implementation, ensuring clear communication and timely responses.
- Conducts sales discussions, introducing innovative products and services, sharing industry insights, and fostering proactive client engagement.
- Promotes new business opportunities by building client relationships, cross‑selling treasury solutions, and leveraging external networks.
- Coordinates deal closures by collaborating with internal teams and clients to finalize agreements.
- Ensures the accuracy of documentation for cash management services, reviewing agreements and maintaining compliance.
- Proactively resolves discrepancies in client documentation and maturity reports, mitigating risks.
- Monitors client implementation activities to ensure timely delivery and provides actionable feedback.
- Serves as subject matter expert to stakeholders, addressing treasury and payment challenges, and providing insights to improve processes.
- Advises clients on specialized cash flow and liquidity management strategies.
- Attends industry forums and community events to enhance the bank’s brand and stay updated on trends.
- Builds and maintains strong long‑term relationships with high‑value clients, providing strategic advice and ensuring exceptional service.
- Analyzes client and industry data to inform customized solution strategies, including working‑capital management.
- Works closely with internal teams to define products, solutions, and strategies that fit client needs.
- Builds advocacy and adoption of the suite of industry‑leading digital products & solutions.
- Supports implementation activities, including documentation, pricing, and project timelines to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement.
- Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance, mitigating risk.
- Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader enterprise‑wide focus.
- Provides specialized analytical and technical support.
- Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
- Works independently and handles non‑routine situations.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in sales and treasury management, financial operations, or risk management in a corporate or banking environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred. - Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and experience.
- Proficiency in structuring deals and people management.
- Advanced skills in treasury management, cash management, payment technologies, financial analysis, risk assessment, auditing, compliance, data analysis, Sales CRM, problem solving, and collaboration.
Salary
: $66,600.00 – $ (Salaried). The range varies based on location, experience and other factors.
