Mechanical Engineer

This position is in our Salt Lake City, Utah location.

• Perform engineering duties related to the production of heavy truck equipment for snow and ice removal. Produce 3D model designs, prints and manuals for a wide variety of products and customers.
• Read and understand technical drawings, specifications and concepts.
• Design, model and test prototypes of products.
• Problem solve shop/customer issues.
• Review, analyze, and implement requirements for product design, strength and durability.
• Produce final drawings with Bills of Materials for manufacture.
• Improve usability and ease of manufacturing for existing products.
• Use 3D modeling software (Inventor or Solidworks).
• Communicate with sales team, shop, production and vendors to accurately and efficiently design products.

• Must have high attention to detail.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred but not required.
• Experience with Inventor or Solidworks required.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure required.
• Background or interest in Trucks and Equipment a plus!
• Must have excellent safety & attendance record.
